Uploaded Media
just4o Files is the library for documents, images, and other supported files you bring into the product. Upload, preview, rename, move, and download them in one place, then attach eligible documents to Global or a project with Use in projects when you want retrieval.
Files library
Files stay organized in the library until you attach eligible documents to Global or a project for retrieval.

Use in projects attaches an eligible document to retrieval scope for Global or for the selected project.
Retrieval
Retrieval-augmented generation means the model can pull from the eligible documents you attach to Global or to a project when it answers, instead of relying on the prompt alone.
In just4o.chat, Files is where that source material lives. The library keeps the source set organized, and retrieval uses the files you choose to attach.
Use in projects is the control that turns eligible documents into retrieval context. Attach a file to Global for broad reach, or attach it to a specific project when only that workspace should use it.
Upload supported files into the library.
Documents, PDFs, images, and other supported files can be stored in Files before you decide what should be used for retrieval.
Keep the library organized as work moves.
Preview files, rename them, move them into folders, download them again, or leave them unfiled while the project is still taking shape.
Attach eligible documents to the right scope.
Use in projects attaches eligible documents to Global or to a project so they can be used for retrieval.
Library Views
The Files manager shows where files live, what needs attention, and which documents are ready for retrieval.
Home
The full library in one place, including the files that are ready, processing, or still waiting for better organization.
Recent
A quick way back to what just came in, so the latest upload is not buried under older project material.
Needs Re-upload
A visible queue for files that need to be brought back so source availability problems are obvious instead of hidden.
Folders and Unfiled
A structure for the library itself, separate from project memory, so files can stay organized without automatically becoming retrieval context.
Beta notice
The File Manager is still under development and in beta. Uploaded files may be lost or require re-upload as the feature is refined, and the product explicitly tells users not to store sensitive or confidential information there yet.
Files keeps uploads organized and ready for retrieval when you need them.
